Manage and delete your data

How to see what TurnkeyHQ can reach in your Google account, how to stop that access, and how to delete what TurnkeyHQ has stored. What we do with Google data is in the Google section of our Privacy Policy.

See what TurnkeyHQ can access

Sign in and open Settings → Google Workspace. It shows which Google account is connected and, under Permissions, which sets of access are on: send email and calendar, Inbox, Drive, Docs and Sheets, and Tasks. Each set is asked for separately, when a feature needs it.

Only the workspace owner or an admin can connect, reconnect or disconnect Google. Other members see the status and who can change it.

Disconnect Google in TurnkeyHQ

  1. Sign in as the workspace owner or an admin.
  2. Open Settings → Google Workspace.
  3. Choose Disconnect, then confirm.

Disconnecting asks Google to revoke TurnkeyHQ’s access and deletes the Google tokens TurnkeyHQ stored for your workspace. From then on the assistant cannot read your mail, calendar or files, or send email from your address. If the same Google account is also connected to another TurnkeyHQ workspace, Google keeps that workspace’s access; remove it there or at Google (below).

Disconnecting does not delete data already stored, such as conversations, contacts, tasks or follow-up suggestions made from your email. To delete those, see the next sections.

Remove TurnkeyHQ's access in your Google account

You can also stop the access from Google’s side at any time, without signing in to TurnkeyHQ: open myaccount.google.com/permissions while signed in to the Google account you connected, choose TurnkeyHQ, and remove its access.

Google stops TurnkeyHQ’s access straight away. The tokens TurnkeyHQ stored stop working but stay in our database until you also disconnect in Settings → Google Workspace, and stored data is not deleted.

Delete individual items

Signed in, you can delete these yourself, and they are removed when you do:

  • Assistant conversations, including what the assistant read from Google for you: use Clear or Clear history in the chat.
  • Contacts, including ones added from your email: open the contact and delete it.
  • Tasks: open the task on the Tasks page and delete it.
  • Facts the assistant remembers: delete them under Knowledge.

Delete your account and all your data

There is no delete-account button in TurnkeyHQ yet. To delete your workspace and everything stored for it, the workspace owner emails privacy@alchemicalai.com from the address they sign in with, naming the workspace. We may ask you to confirm the request before we act on it.

What it covers. Everything TurnkeyHQ stores for the workspace in our database: the Google connection and its tokens, and the data made from Google and your other work, including conversations, contacts, activity, tasks, follow-up suggestions, documents and remembered facts.

When. Our staff carry out the deletion by hand after the request is confirmed; it is not automatic, and nothing deletes your data on a timer. Until it is done your workspace keeps working, so disconnect Google first (above) if you want access to stop straight away.

To delete only the Google data we hold and keep your account, email the same address and say so.
